Who Lies and Who Speaks the Truth? The Results Are In.
I do not for a minute excuse the Democrats for not being truthful when speaking to the media and to their constituents, but anyone who has any idea of what's really going on in our country knew that this would be the way an objective analysis would turn out. If you haven't bookmarked Politifact, do so. It will astound you.

Here's a Good Look Into the Soul of the Tea Party
Meet Danita Kilcullen, a co-founder of the Tea Party in Florida. This photo was taken a couple of years ago after she had kicked a policeman. More recently, an email from this dear lady surfaced in which she raved against the new law forbidding discrimination in the workplace. Ms. Kilcullen's electronic rant ended with the thought that she resented the notion that the government could demand that she had to hire "a man in a dress… or some butch-looking female."
Isn't she a sweetheart!

Better Late Than Never … I Guess.
The New York Times has an interesting story today about Ken Mehlman, who
was one of the key political strategists for George W. Bush’s re-election
campaign in 2004.
That was the year the Republicans got the issue of gay marriage on the
ballot in a lot of the swing states in order to turn out their base … the
theory being the would vote against gay marriage and for “Dubya”. It worked, too.
And now we learn that Mehlman is gay, has come out of the closet, and is
urging the Republican Party to accept gay marriage. That story prompted some
wonderful comments in the Times, but of those I read, this was the best:
Yet another conservative taking the liberal position on the
one issue that hits close to home.
McCain, on torture. Rubio, on immigration.
Cheney, and this guy, on gay marriage. Ryan, on his family government contract
business issues. Jindal, on hurricane relief.
And so it goes.
