Many of you – well, mostly fellow members of the Hawaii Old Timers’ Club – will remember John Kernell. He was former Mayor Frank Fasi’s very first Director of the Office of Information and Complaint (I’m Number Two! I’m Number Two!) and went on to become a news anchor at KGMB-TV.
